ESTATED & AMC

So, the year has ended. And as you might know, the first year of Estated & AMC has passed.

Alot of things has happened, in a very short time. The career of Estated did’nt even start till AMC made himself heard. To make you understand what really happened, we will give you a list of the top happenings of the year. And along with that, some pictures of course. Enjoy!

Best gig of 2011: Traffic the 29:th of October. There was alot of parties that maybe would have been better, in other types of views. But this one was the one with the best crowd, the best venue, the best sound, best visiuals and best set-time. Clearly, the best of them all!

Best tune of 2011: A hard decision to make. There are so many good tunes with good vibes out there. And many different types of tunes as well. But clearly, the one that made the best impression on the dancefloor from where we has been standing, is this one.

Best trip 2011: Without a doubt, the 25 Hour People Cruise. Visionfruit got banned from the piano bar durin Nordstorms set. Almost rioting against the Finish guards, Stereotype got arrested for bathing in the childrens ball pool. To avoid a fine of 2000 kr, mr Stereotype and his friend had to empty the whole pool. Another friend of the crew got arrested after throwing some chairs overboard, just minutes before arriving to Stockholm again. On top of this, we had Shy FX, AOD, Traffic and loads, loads, loads of wicked artists and Djs playing. Hard to beat.

Weirdest trip 2011: Crazy Fresh Festival in Tierp. No one knows what really happend that day. To much alcohol, to early. Lesson learned.

Best producer 2011: You might not have heard that much, but Sonic87 is really coming thru. Big things happening next year!

Best Visionfruit DJ 2011: Hiding behind studies and work, the one who has made most progress as a DJ, technically looking, is without a doubt Stereotype. Pumping out tight mixtapes, he is the one who really should get more big ups than any other.

Most successfull Visionfruit DJ 2011: Alongside AMC, Estated has been the one who has been working hardest to get gigs, and getting out there. After hard working, he got a spot on the the biggest and best drum & bass club Traffic’s homepage for bookable djs.

Best Visionfruit MC of 2011: A hard decision to make. Tabs has been in the game for to long to get this one. So of course, and because we are partial, AMC gets this one. MC’ing with Estated on almost every big gig he’s done, together with productions with both Sonic87 and Electro duo Shuck Shaft, AMC is the the one who has been pushing it the most this year. Look out for 2012!

Greatest feeling 2011: Of course the feeling after the first Söder Dub. An evening that should just have been a small bar night on södermalm, the event turned out to be a success in swedens drum & bass- and dubstep scene. Nordstorm, Estated & AMC, Maxive & Stereotpe smashed it. The following events got even bigger and more hyped than the first one. We loved it!

Best rave of 2011: Älvdansen. Those who knows, knows.
